*RONB is a hybrid modality that combines the best features of synchronous in-person and synchronous online instruction.  Students enjoy social interactions and form working groups when they come to in-person classes.  Students also can save their time on travel when they participate in the synchronous online instruction over zoom. In-person classes include the first two classes.  After that we meet in-person every other week. As a result, about 25% of classes are in-person, and about 75% are online. Both in-person and online classes are streamed over zoom and video-recorded.  All videos and lecture slides are available to students. All exams are in-person. Exams are open-book, open-notes. Instruction relies on two statistical packages, Stata and R. Students are free to choose which statistical package to use.
